For over a decade, Cameron Kootz and Anne-Marie Enns have been the quiet architects behind the world’s most significant immersive technology gatherings. From producing CVR: Consumer Virtual Reality which grew to 6500 attendees in just it's second year (2016, 2017) to executive producing the VR/AR Global Summit (11,000+ attendees), they have partnered with NASA, Microsoft, Google, and Meta to prove that spatial computing has a prominent place in work, gaming, education, and life.
But the tech landscape has shifted. AI has democratized creation, and the old "trade show" model is broken. 1UP Summit is their response: an "anti-conference" designed to empower a new generation of builders—from the veteran OG to the AI-empowered domain expert—to navigate the AI × XR convergence together.

Cameron brought mixed reality to the masses in concert production and iconic camera motion technology to Hollywood film and he has spent the past decade producing conferences for technological turning points, including the world's biggest XR conference — moments where XR collided with AI, blockchain, gaming, and next-generation interfaces. As co-founder of Pulledin Productions, he's built the rooms where developers, creators, and domain experts come together to make sense of what's changing. 1UP is his latest invitation: a space built for the people shaping what comes next.
Anne-Marie Enns
Co-Founder, Executive Producer & Curator
Anne-Marie is an executive producer who has led some of the most respected emerging technology events in the world, from global XR summits to major stages at TED. Her curation led the VR/AR Global Summits to become the world's single largest conference event in the XR space. She's known for creating environments where big ideas, practitioners, and possibility collide. At 1UP, she brings the same energy: a place for builders, leaders, and creatives to gather, learn, and rise together.
